ThinkChinatown: Creative Placemaking

ThinkChinatown is a community-driven effort started by ACDC in partnership with Chinatown residents and youth to activate sidewalks and common spaces in our community. Residents submit their ideas on how to transform a space, and ACDC facilitates this process with funding and technical assistance.

Placemaking is the transformation of an underutilized public space into an active and vibrant area using art and creativity. These temporary interventions aim to permanently transform how people perceive and use a space.
