This summer, we partnered with BCNC's Pao Arts Center to launch Residence Lab. At Residence Lab, three community artists teamed up with Chinatown residents to create art that explored the question of "How can we preserve rapidly-changing Chinatown?"
On August 23rd, 5:30-7:30pm, they will be revealing the results of their hard work at the Hudson Lot (8-12 Hudson St). The kick-off will involve music, interactive art, and family-friendly games that all recognize and celebrate what it means to call Chinatown home.

Residence Lab’s space activation opens on Friday, August 23, 2019, during ACDC’s Films at the Gate and closes on Saturday, September 28, 2019, during BCNC’s Experience Chinatown Festival.
Residence Lab is generously funded by the Barr Foundation and ArtPlace America and supported by Sasaki’s Fabrication Studio.
