In light of recent national and state investments guiding Massachusetts towards a green future, Action For Regional Equity (Action!) invites you to learn how to ensure emerging green job opportunities are open to all Mass. residents, especially those in low income communities of color who have been historically underemployed and among the hardest hit by the recession.
If you care about social justice, equal access to good job opportunities and a green future which benefits everyone join Action! to learn about the:
- The current challenges that face local and national energy efficiency and weatherization training programs.
- The best practices to help Massachusetts develop cutting edge models of green job training for the future.
The event will feature a panel of perspectives from advocates, practitioners, policy makers and workers who stand to benefit.
